Capitalism kept in check by piracy?

Introduction - So I was pondering the great paradox of our free market economy.  Namely in the field of innovation.  Basically, our government attempts to do as little as possible to interfere with the market in the name of efficiency.  I applaude our governments efforts to not screw up the economy.  I really do.  But there is a major problem with our money-based system.

Problem - Inventions are good.  New ideas are good.  I think we can all agree on this point (at least everyone in ProgressiveU).  However, in our market economy it is in the best interest of the idea creator to sap the new idea for all its worth before coming up with another idea.  This is the whole "Invent something cool then spend the rest of your life in a mansion" philosophy.  This is bad.  This is a bad thing.  We want the people who CAN come up with new ideas to share them quickly and efficiently and start working on new ones.  This is the paradox of a market economy, it encourages stagnation of innovation.

Solution - This is where I realized piracy comes in.  Piracy and undercutting quickly disseminate ideas that the idea-holder is attempting to over-exploit.  High priced software, high priced footware, proprietary baking methods, etc. can all be aquired through piracy when the Marginal Benefit of piracy exceeds the Marginal Cost of actually getting the product through the legal market.  In a sense, it adds a new curve to the supply-demand scheme, becoming a 'lurking supply variable'.  This is why our economy can function the way it does.

Everyone in the USA has participated in piracy at some point.  Its the final check for the balance of our economy.  Particularly, it has given me renewed hope that Democracy is the worst form of government besides all the others that have been explored to date. (for you slow people, that means Democracy is the best form of government on the planet at this point.)

"However, in our market economy it is in the best interest of the idea creator to sap the new idea for all its worth before coming up with another idea."

Thanks to a capitalistic market, there will be plenty of people to come up with new innovations. One individual does not need to come up with 25 or more inventions.

"This is the paradox of a market economy, it encourages stagnation of innovation."

Capitalism does not encourage stagnation of innovation. It rewards innovation.

"Solution - This is where I realized piracy comes in."

Piracy discourages innovation.

--Let us sit down and debate this matter like civilized individuals. Now where is my hammer!?--

Lolz

yeah, I guess your right. Apparently, I forgot the over-piracy factor apparent in movies and other stuff. Perhaps it is good in the arts, yes? Because then it removes the purely financial goals of some movies, and would then eliminate movies like Poseidon from coming out.
