The Important Things

Lately I've seen blogs solely devoted to chastising other bloggers who write about common subjects. That's cool. Especially when you pass their facade of frustration and see that their post earns them 50 points... for not writing about an issue.

So let's look an issue and quick. Shux, oftentimes intent is displaced with a Friday brain drool, but we do our best. This is an attempt at a non-generic post with elements of "any old day" topics.

Abortion-- each state in the union should illegalize the practice, because golly, that shit ain't right with my beliefs. States like South Dakota absolutely have a compelling interest to preserve the religious values of the majority. Societal values of a secular country? Ha. That's about as absurd as what Tom Waits dubbed, "having a huge erection wins you the election."

This is a country where Mike Huckabee, a man who pronounces his undying faith above Darwinian science, actually has a free-willy's chance. His beliefs should echo. Pizza delivery boys should preach his beliefs at the opening of every door.

And to stay propelled by the subject of artificially warmed surfaces, let's switch to global warming. Who gives a flying fuck what the IPCC reports and advocates. They're talking peer-reviewed science. Conservatives, religious texts and figures refer to Noah's flood, not a warming of the Earth's climate. Now that's god-reviewed science.

And remember: the most important thing in the world is your family's money.
