Check out www.fastweb.com and www.scholarships.com for national and regional scholarships. Talk to your guidance counselors or teachers about scholarships in your local area. Make it a fun and exciting activity by inviting your friends over for a "Scholarship Soiree"; this way everyone can get feedback on their essays.
It's important that you take your scholarship search seriously and convey that in your essays because if you don't, no one will trust you enough to give you free money for college. You are the only one who can control your destiny. So, TAKE CONTROL!
