Hi. I'm in a group called Notes 4 NOLA and we are collecting musical instruments for kids in New Orleans and we really need your help!
We've been trying to collect intruments of all kinds and it's not really working out. We would like to give the donated intruments to kids in New Orleans that lost everything to Katrina. The schools there have been devistated by this monsterous huricane and are in desprate need of help to bring back their culture.
We will take anything. Old guitars, flutes, clarinets, saxes, it would be great if we could get a couple of drum sets. I'm not sure about pianos though. too hard to transport. and they can be old or new we don't care! for the instruments that need refurbishing we are going to refubish them our selves so they don't even have to be in good shape. and if you don't have an instrument but want to help, you can donate money to help pay for shiping the stuff to New Orleans or you can go out and buy things to clean the intruments with. the students in New Orleans need everything! or even stands or chairs! anything would help us and the needy people in New Orleans out.
So please help Notes 4 NOLA make the peoples lives in New Orleans a little bit better. I mean, just letting them know that we still are thinking about them is probably going to help them out a lot.
