Now believe me when I say this, I take the backseat to no one when it comes to love for this country. I sleep under an American Flag ever night. Literally, it’s on the wall behind my bed.
However, and most people would agree, that this country on its current track is doomed to see some horrible things.
So we as teenagers, who still have the ability to change the country and who are the future of this country, need to step up and fix things. There are solutions to most of the problems that we as Americans face. Unfortunately, many of our elected officials have their head in the clouds. They get paid well so suddenly all the promises the made to us, the commonwealth, fly out the window.
I will not ask about your political affiliation, and for the sake of this blog I will not tell you mine. If you could please give me suggestions on how to solve these problems I would love to hear them. I am also interested to see if they coincide with my own.
The problems are:
High oil prices
The war in the Middle East
Illegal Immigration

The truth is that these are some very complicated and delicate problems. While it may seem easy to drill more or to build a fence along our border and call it a day, policy is never that simple. That's the whole reason why some of the best minds in the country are working tirelessly at solving these very problems. So sure, we can all say what we think about this or that, but without research, money, and a large network of people, there is no way that any one person could solve this issues. We are all entitled to our opinions, but it is a lot to presume that we know something that could really go towards solving these issues.
