Our society preaches about how fair we are about equality. Well this is true to some length, but when it comes to gays in America I believe we are one of the worst. I believe that being gay is not a choice. That when a baby is born they don't decide "oh well I wanna be black and straight," just like a person that is gay doesn't wake up one day and decide well I think that I'm going to be gay today. The bible preaches that being gay is a sin and that you will go to hell for it. This to me is insulting. I'm not gay, but i do think that just because someone says that being gay is a sin doesn't mean that it's true. What if someone went around and said " don't talk to him, he's a straight guy, he's going to hell." How would you feel about that? I'm not saying this to offend anyone. I'm just speaking my thoughts on this issue and I realize that not everyone will agree with me but just take the time to get to know someone who is gay before you judge them. Sure not everyone's perfect but that is what makes life so interesting.

Ah, someone with intelligence!
I agree with you on the issue, I also believe that you don't choose to be gay or straight, and I have to admit I still lol when people make a point (like you) stating that people don't wake up and say 'Well, today I'm going to be gay!'
Its a valid point though.
And the Bible is so contradicting. It teached that homosexuality is wrong, and then also goes on and talks about how judgement is wrong.
So if you are going to live by the Bible 100%, youre screwed! It's impossible!
