Prostitution defined as the act or practice of engaging in sexual intercourse for money. When hearing the term prostitution you'd think of American adults standing on the corners of darks street soliciting. In actuality prostitution branches further than American soil. In Cambodia, girls as young as 8 and up are being sold as slaves for sex. Svay Pak is one of the big places to go to find these young girls being sold. A fifteen year old boy is one of the many "pimps" selling these girls. An American doctor was caught going on trips to Cambodia to buy girls for sex. He admits to paying fifty dollars for three girls. Its clear to see that the sellers and sex slaves are young by their vocabulary terms for the sexual acts. "Boom boom" is the word used for sexual intercourse, and "Yum yum" is their term for oral sex. I can't believe they allow Eight-year-old girls to be sex slaves in Cambodia because they're way too young to do those things, but that's Cambodia; not America.

Actually, if I remember correctly the girls were as young as 5 or so. I saw that and it made me so sad. And all the blogs about legalizing prostitution in my opinion they need to look up this documentary and see the reality of prostitution...
There's a difference between wanting prostitution to be legal for consenting adults and wanting to have sex with a child sex slave. I doubt anyone who advocates for prostitution to be legal actually thinks sex slavery is okay.

I agree. These two are separate issues and need to be dealt with separately. Children do not have the power or resources to step up and say "no", but adults choose their own path.

I understand this, but for prostitution to be allowed on our streets would not look good and it wouldn't be good for our country either. I guess it's just that I don't believe in it at all for my own reasons and I'm allowed my opinion as well others are allowed to theirs and because we live in the wonderful U.S. of A. they along with I are allowed to voice and discuss these opinions.
