I just wanted to say that my school is overflowing with trash and it makes me fustrated whenever I see any kind of trash around campus because even though we have janitors to clean them up. Sometimes I wonder how old are we, the students at my high school just litter the trash that could be easily picked up after. The amount of trash just adds up and I feel there should be more action taken even with the Clean Campus committee at school, it does not seem to improve that much. There should be a way to keep the trash to a minimum- the janitors have to clean these trash when time is better spent just to clean the school itself. And to think seagulls used to come over the lunch quad where food is left when students do not pick up after themselves. When the bell rings and students rush to class, many students would cover up their heads trying to avoid getting bird poop on themselves... Any suggustions on how to fix this mess would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a suggestion, and hope you tell your principal about it: Make litter laws. Litter and you get a certain amount of dollar fine $25 or more. They are defacing the property, they should be punished
hmm not bad. Will think about that. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
WHY NOT TRY TO TELL THE PRINCIPAL THAT ANY STUDENT THAT GOUGHT OTHER STUDENT TRASHING TO GIVE THEN A TICKET OR IN OTHER WORDS ASK THEM FOR MONEY SO THEY DONT TROW AWAY THE TRASH.

kind of like paying a quarter or something for swearing or ? Interesting suggestion...
Thanks for the suggestion. :)
You should start a clean-up-our-school movement!! Or find someone else who is bothered by the trash with more time to spearhead. Trash bothers me,too.
May the Force be with you...and God bless.
Old enough to still believe that "r" is interchangeable with "are."
my high school campus was full of trash and graffiti. but my school is so big that you cant contol the littering. but the reason there are sooo many birds is because of the trash- put your trash in the trash can, and the birds stop pooping on your head.
Why don't you create "No Littering" (or something like that) signs and post them on some parts of the lunch quad.

Everyone is so lazy. The solution is simple- throw crap away. Are there plenty of trash cans in convenient locations? Maybe if there were more trash cans, disposal would be easier. Also, maybe start something where if your school doesn't pass a weekly litter inspection, certain events or priveleges are revoked for the entire school. This would help motivate everyone to clean it up.
