What We Take For Granted

Having a best friend is one of the greatest things I have ever experienced. This friend is someone you can call when you're crying or even when you have nothing to say. Sometimes you don't have to tell them what you're thinking because they already know what is on your mind. A best friend is someone who is always there for you. Friendships like this can form quickly, and can also be lost even faster than they started. Before you know it, you are hanging out with this kid everyday. Their face clutters your photo album and you'e basically never seen without them until.......

Theres some silence on your end because they stop calling. You were stupid enough to not consider how things could change. Your friend could get a girlfriend for the first time, get a job or just get too wrapped up in life altogether and become too busy to pencil you into the schedule. Things change and people change. It is such an unfair reality sometimes. No matter how hard you try, sometimes you can't dig up days of yesterday to give them new life. When I think of my friendships that have gotten worn out and lost I just want to scream. Losing someone so close to you is painful and unfair. But it tends to happen so I just try to think positive and hope another great person will come along to take pictures and eat ice cream with me.

I also have/had 2 best friends. I feel like I have already kinda lost them even though we are still in school together. But in June one of my friends is moving to Tallahassee and my other friend will stay here while I move to North Miami in September. It is the lamest thing to go through in the world to feel like your friends are lost and you really don't know who you can turn to.

It sucks to not have anyone to talk to.
