OK, so recently this "seven project" group has been hanging posters in our school. This group really pisses me off. I have no problem with them having their little religious groups, but I strongly dislike the way that this group is run. Haven't heard of the seven project? Well, here is what they don't tell you. They come to you school. They feed you a bunch of crap about how their group is about leadership and technology and that if you want to learn more, you should come to their evening meetings. Once you go to their evening meeting, they change their focus to religion. Sure, technology and leadership may play a small role in it, but religion is the basis of the group. After they get you to join their cult, they encourage you to recruit seven friends to go with you. So basically, the group lies to kids, tricks them into coming to a religous meeting, then encourages religious recruiting - and it all starts with school meetings.

Those groups are everywhere... just using different names. Proselythizing has become an art form with some Christians. And I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I'm incredibly tired of it. If we wanted to be Christian, we would without someone knocking on our doors or preaching at us constantly. All that does, for many, is give yet another reason they won't step foot in a church and to think of Christians negatively.
To each his or her own... just leave me out of it.

I agree- its quite annoying
Deception should never be the way to go about raising awareness of one's beliefs. I am of the mindset that you need to be straight forward with what you believe so as not to cause confusion or frustration. However, please bear in mind that no one is perfect. Sometimes, we just need to reevaluate in order to determine the most effective ways to reach people for Christ.
