So i have read many blogs on here about God.
I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions but i just cant understand how people cant believe in him.
i guess because i was raised to believe in and worship him.
My parents have never been religous freaks or anything i pretty much think my grandma is the one that got both me and my sister to go to church when we were young.
now neither of us are big christians or anything..
actually i dont even go to church.. i dont even know when the last time was that i went..
i admitt that it is sad but i decided awhile back that i dont need hypicrites telling me how to live my life.. i mean i know im not perfect and i know i sin but i dont understand someone doing worse things than i have ever done telling me how bad i am..
ya know??
and recently i discovered that i dont really know if i believe the bible is right or even from God.
I believe that God makes people homosexual but apparently the bible says it is wrong..
im sorry but God doesnt give people the personal choice to decide who you love if he did well.. things would be a whole lot easier..
And some people shared with me that the original books of the bible got burnt in a church fire.. i did not know that.. so whoever rewrote it could have been anti-gay or anti- anything not "normal"..
here is the dilema..
i do believe people will go to hell if they dont except Jesus but how can i make a difference in peoples religous beliefs if im confused about my own personal religion??

I think it's fantastic that you're questioning your religion. You should never believe in anything without being absolutely sure of it.
i am absolutely sure of God just not the bible...

/::) I think that is what I am doing right now--looking closer at other religions, and maybe taking a look at Christianity again. I'm a born again Christian who really doesn't believe....or knows how to believe, or what to believe in.

Well i decided that I believe in God I just don't believe in EVERYTHING the Bible says. And it really freaks me out when my friends or people I care about tell me that they do not believe in God. Because I do believe in heaven and hell and I do not want them to die and go to hell.

I'm atheist. However, I'm very, very spiritual. I do not believe in any god as it is written in any book in any form. At least not that I've come across yet.
My reason: I read all of them. I analysed all the books. I talked to everyone I could find of any religion. All religions have their ups and downs, their good and bad points. The question is, what do you believe? If you can look at it all and say you believe in it, then it is good. Many people I've come across have had doubts, but in the end they are still faithful to their FAITH. That is what it comes down to. Believing in something, even if it is not one version, but another.
How can people believe? I don't know. They just do. I'm not one of those, due to my belief in science and the conflicting "evidence" in the bible.

I guess that is good for you but i do not really know. I beleive in God I just do not believe in EVERYTHING the bible says. And I am not a really big fan of science so I do not need evidence for my beliefs. I balieve what I want because God gave me free will to do so.
