what does bestfriend mean to you

A best friend
is always there,
whether you need advice,
or a pep talk,
or even a shoulder to cry on.
A best friend
listens with her heart
and is always honest with you,
even though the truth
may not be
what you want to hear.
A best friend
knows all your secrets,
understands your fears
shares your dreams.
A best friend
never stops believing in you
even if you give up
on yourself.
you are
that kind of friend
to me.
And no matter what happens,
you always will be.
You are my best friend....
my forever friend.

do you think that all freinds do this or do think that other are just pretending

its hard sometimes to have a bestfreind but its good to have one who you trust. it helps alot.

There are different levels of friendship, I think. This really made me miss my best friend. We've been best friends since we were kids, but she couldn't handle me having a boyfriend, and so that was the end of seven years of friendship. Plus her boyfriend started attacking me and calling me names and making me cry, and I'm sorry, but I cannot call that a best friend.

Sigh. I don't have a best friend. When I read something like this, it hurt a little bit. I have friends, but none of them would consider me as their best friend. I long for one best friend. A close friend, that's it. So when I consider someone "best friend" they don't view me the same way. The concept of best friend has to be mutual right?

okay its hard

its hard for me at first to trust someone as a bestfreind reason been there are some poeple who are good freinds but bad bestfreinds so its good to wait and choose wisely.
