Okay, I love to get my daily news fix from cnn.com. It is the best way for me to keep up with America and the World with such a full load on my plate. This website also allows me to keep up with current events as well. I am just a little confused why the "norm" for society seems like one should "bitch" about anything and everything. I find myself doing this too. Actually at this very moment, I am complaining about everyone complaining.
Just in the last 30 minutes, I have read blogs about people calling others ignorant, people tired of people calling them ignorant. and so on. My idea on this is that if a person has the motivation to voice what they feel- good for them. I'm sure I won't agree with everything everyone says, but if I tried to make everyone feel the same way as I do, I'd go crazy.
Another example, I read about a guy who put up a memorial for all the fallen soliders from Iraq somewhere in California. Wow, that's a really nice gesture right? Wrong, there are people who are offended and are protesting the crosses he put out to remind people of the war. Okay, give the guy a break, at least he got off of his butt to do something!
Then I just read how 60+ rights groups are challeging Madonna's adoption of baby David. Okay, what do they want, this child to pass up a life to live without worries or wants? Give me a break, I really do feel that Madonna was trying to do something right. But no, people have to complain and make a big deal out of everything. I mean really, I read a blog about how Rosie O'Donnell made accusations at Kelly Ripa over something she said to Clay Aiken. Give me a break! When can we find happiness in eachother and start worrying about ourself before we start trying to tell others what to do?
I guess my whole point is that my senses are telling me that in today's society, it is normal to push and shove people around?

although many do not believe in the ible it does have at least one point that goes with what you are saying...something to the effect of take the plank out of your own eye before you try to take the splinter out of your brother's...anyways its a good point...start with the man (or woman) in the mirror
