Do you really think making abortions illegal will stop women from getting them? Thousands of women would receive underground abortions and most will die as the result. And what about the 12 year old girls who are rapped? Are they supposed to go through childbirth with a high percentage of failure? I believe there should be an age limit after which an abortion is illegal, such as when the fetus has working organs, a beating heart. I don't actually know how soon that takes place but some sort of limit needs to be set. If abortion is make illegal that will not stop women from receiving them, and with that both mother and child would be in danger.

i strongly agree with ya'll that no matter whether it is legal or not, women are going to have abortions if they really need to, and they are better off going to some sort of clinic than having their boyfriend poke around in there with a wire hanger or something. it is no ones choice but the woman who is making it and congress nor the President can take a basic freedom such as that away from half of the population of our country.

Even though I think it's pretty wrong, I tihnk abortians should be legal. I tihnk this because a lot of the women who get abortions' children would have a bad life. And like you said, teens should be allowed whether they were raped or not, because their child would almost definetly have a bad life, and both mother and child are at a high risk of dying in that case.
