It is also true in China, that 80% of all funeral homes are owned by the State. Last November the government in China, limited private sector profiteering on Funerals by instituting rules insisting on cremation, In fact the cost of many an apartment in Beijing China is less than the cost of burial ground.
The Government in China is enforcing the Lower Cost Funerals and making them mandatory!!
This is due to the fact that Inflation is quite High in China.

Here is an actual quote from the Bloomberg Article:
"Five of the capital's major cemeteries charge as much as 30,000 yuan ($4,273) per square meter for a standard plot, compared with an average of 20,000 yuan per square meter for an apartment in the city center, the English-language China Daily reported today".

Not only are the Chinese, Ahead of The United States Congress in Funeral Cost.
They seem to have a deep respect for the dead. They have a National Holiday where they visit the graves of their deceased family members.

Rest in Peace, Your Funeral Guy believes this is a better option than National Funeral Directors and Morticians day. Respect for the dead must be present in the culture before there can be respect for the Funeral Director.

Respect for the living and the dead, how novel, a real zingwhacker of an idea.
