This is what I feel what I think of the NAACP.
What does the NAACP do? I mean really what do they do? I don’t hear anything from the NAACP except whenever an athlete gets into trouble that he probably deserves and the baddest organization in the land goes to bet for the guy or the image awards and they put their trophy faces up you know Malcolm, Rosa, martin to give us that civil rights era feeling as if that group and the soft, unimportant union (that was the baddest organization in the land) are the same thing. They probably do that to show at one time they were actually relevant and did very important things but now they’re a mere shadow of themselves and are utterly unnecessary, hell my city has its own chapter and I didn’t even know till I was 17. When I think of the NAACP I think of an elder relative, they haven’t done anything in the last ten years but since he’s older you should just automatically respect him as if he’s somebody. No, my friend respect is earned and just because of your past doesn’t mean you get to play past heroes and still be important. Everyone has to pull their weight and of all organizations NAACP should know better.
