Often in our society, a person is labeled a Hero for his actions and contributions, but what is a Hero!? what makes some one a Hero!? this are question that i find myself asking, throught my years my prospective on what i Hero is has change, before people with super powers that could fly and brake walls down with a punch was what i believed was a Hero, but my opinion has change during the last couple of years of my life. in present day my view on what a person should have to be considered a hero is the fallowing, first some one that is willing to put his life on the line for others, second they must posses bravery and trust, a hero should also know how to take action when it is needed, he/she must also reinforce what it right. I believe that a hero has to be willing to risk his life for others, this shows me that he/she is willing to help some one that they probably dont even know which that in it's self shows that he/she cares about others well being. A hero must have bravery to be able to overcome fears like fear of fire, water, highst, ect. last but not least a Hero should always be ready to defend what is right an he/she should always try to make this world a better place.

I had a similar debate after I wrote an entry on this topic. People have their own personal definitions of a "hero", whether it be the iconic stereotype or something based off of real life example.
I feel the term "hero" is used for EVERYTHING. I feel that people who choose to be police officers and fire fighters are heroes in the sense that they chose that career. But on the other hand I feel that if a fire fighter goes into a blazing building, well that is their job. They are already a hero for choosing that profession, but I think the term stops there. I hope I do not confuse anyone with my thinking.
There is one profession that I feel should be rated right up with police officers and fire fighters. Those are the Medical Examiners! Not everyone can handle seeing a dead body, let alone cut into it. Someone HAS to do that job and I never could. Hurray to the Medical Examiners!!!!!
Heroes are everyday people who choose to go above and beyond their perceived capabilities for the sake of others.
