I for one did not know about Women's Equality Day but it exists?
Since there is a holiday for Women Equality i think it should be broad casted more than what it is! Women need to know about this holiday. This holiday should be more important than Columbus day. it needs to be on put on everyday calendars. By the way the actual date is on August 26. if we are supposed to celebrate this day, we must know about this day!
I feel that it is necessary so that we can take the next step to stop prejudice and discrimination in our world. We see the inequality everyday and by promoting and celebrating how far we have come we can ultimately stop the mindset by which we are faced with.
So has anyone else heard of this holiday and how do you celebrate or will in the future?

but shouldn't everyday be women equality day? why just designate one day? and it shouldn't just be women equality day, but equality for everyone!

I never knew about the holiday either! Munky boi is right we should celebrate everyday!Just like any other holiday we pick one day out of the year to acknowledge a particular issue and ceelebrate it just a little bit more. I would probably celebrate by going out to dinner with some of my girlfriends.
