My aunt keeps telling me theres ways to get money for college just by being puerto rican or mexican or whatever. Is this really true. I have been searching online like crazy. And what have I found..umm nothing. 
lame so im guessing its not. The only thing i have found are website that make you write out essays and play stupid games and whoever wins gets it. Yea how many kids try getting these things like a buttload. So I really doubt i'll win any just like that. So if you have any tips hit me up please, or any ideas at all let me know. Anything will probably help. Thank you.

Its true. There are TONS. But you won't find them just on google. sign up for free at fastweb.com or scholarshipexperts.com. You will have to take about 20 minutes while signing up to fill out the questions about what you like to do, your grades, your ethnicity, and the search will start emailing to you scholarships that match you. And believe, there are more scholarships for ethnicity to mexicans than anyone else I know. I wonder why is that?
I've been looking for scholarships for Italian kids and I can't find any either. I'm sure they are out there though.
I am not sure about that. I never heard of Italian kids perse getting them. But there are scholarships for kids born in europe, so that might help.
I know they must exist. My mom was adopted, but her mom (my grandma) found me lots and lots of Polsih scholarships through her Polish organizations and I'm not even Polish by blood. (Although my mom's adoption is a secret, so maybe no one knows that I'm not Polish....) Anyway, I just assume that there must be stuff out there for those with Italian blood. I hope so anyway!

Well I am part polish because my grandma was born there but there are no records to prove it. Can I still get some? Can you tell me the names please of the scholarships? I desperately need ANYTHING or else I don't go to college.

there are lots of schools that don't have tuition more than 6 grand or something a year and are pronbably going to give merit scholarhips if you don't qualify for aide by the usual means

I really really want to go to college, but I will have to look into it and see if I can afford it. Its easy to find a college but its hard to find a scholarship. Don't get me wrong. I would LOOOVEEE to go to college, but at this point I have applied to so many that I kinda feel like givin up

Both. Maybe I could if I got a loan but how on earth would I pay a loan back...thats my question. I wouldn't be able to handle debt.
The organizations she is involved with are Polish Women's Alliance, Polish University Club, and Polish National Alliance. My grandma is, sadly, a vegetable now, and I can't really tell you much else. I haven't even gotten my scholarships yet. Where are you from though? I can probably give you a phone number for your district. At least for PWA.
