Recently, 6 people were killed and 1 was seriously injured in a small Wisconsin town at the hands of a law enforcement officer. All of the deaths were to high school or college students the youngest being 14. This hits me particularly hard because I am from Wisconsin. Although I am not connected to this crime in anyway except for being from Wisconsin it makes me wonder what kind of process people go through to become police officers. How can we trust our law enforcement officers if we hear stories about them going on shooting ramages? I know that this is one specific case and that most officers want to protect the community we live in, but if one could do it why not others?
