Gas, everyone is talking about it. The prices are climbing everyday and it's getting to be unreasonable. I'm currently looking for a new job, but I'm having trouble finding somewhere that doesn't cost more to get there than I'll make. My dad has been taking a bus down to Atlanta when he works, and now so many other people are doing the same that he has to get to the stop extra early just to make sure he gets a spot on the bus. I go to school 500 miles away from my house. When I do come home, I have to make sure enough money is set aside to make it home and back. Being a poor college student, visits home are rare.
With all of this said, what is being done to utilize alternative fuels? I hear about all kinds of research being done, but what's coming out of it? Something needs to be found that works, and that we can put into use quickly.
Look at Brazil. It's self-sufficient when it comes to fuel. It uses the sugar cane it grows as fuel. Maybe we can use all the sugar we put into candy as fuel. That could help with fuel and America's obesity.

Two birds with one stone...I love it. Maybe we can learn/ figure out how to use tobacco plants too.
Its to bad that most attempts to do other then oil is shot down by government highly invested in oil and the giant oil mongers. There was a 'pure' electric car that was tossed out and berated until they combined it with oil products to satisfy the needs of the people and the greed of the Biggins.
Have you seen any other alternatives?
