All citizens of the United States of America, 18 and older, have a right to vote. I believe several things should be addressed when it comes to voting. First when registering to vote proof of citiznship should be mandatory. Why? That would cut down on voter fraud. We should also get rid of the electorial college. That was set up way before computer's. The purpose of the electoral was to send the votes representing the voters. We don't need it. If the people have the vote then let our voices be heard. Certain states have actually given their electoral votes before the votes are tallied, before the polls are closed. Some states like Hawaii already know the outcome of the vote because other states have sent in their electoral college votes before hawaiian residents have a chance to make it to the polls. Another good reason the electoral votes should be eliminated.
Make ballots in english only. One requirement for citizenship, when coming from another country should be to speak the language of that country. If you want to be an American then speak english.
I think that many eligible Americans shirk their responsibility by saying " well my vote won't make a difference, so why vote?" If you don't vote then don't complain about the outcome.

There are a few grammatical errors here. Odd, coming from someone who insists that an American should be able to speak English.
