I thought this would be a good first post because i think its important for people to help others. If everyone came together we could really make a difference.
I found this web site a while ago that helps fund important issues in the world today. I've been visiting this web site daily, on it there are links to helping a number of other different causes such as child health, breast cancer, the rainforest, poverty..etc. Its called therainforestsite.com. All you have to do is click each button everyday and the site and its advertisers fund each cause. For example clicking the hunger section will fund twenty bowls of food for people in hunger in under developed nations. Each site also has a shop section were you can buy items and the money will go to that cause. They sell things like jewelery , clothing, chocolates and fair trade items.I recently bought a package that gives girls in Africa shoes and supplies so that they can go to school. Most of the "give more" items are ever tax deductable. Its a really easy way to help the world.
What I really like about this site is that its probably the easiest way to help. It takes a few minutes and everyone spends alittle time on the computer everyday anyway.. so why not click?

Thanks for sharing that site. I'll go by and do some clicking of my own.

I can see how buying from their shop can help fund causes, but how does clicking do any help? I wonder how to tell if this site is legitimate or not, because I would sure hate to buy stuff from this site and think I'm helping when all I'm really doing is help these people fill their pockets...
This is not a rant or anything against you. I'm just cautious of charitable organizations with ads on TV or the Web because it's so difficult to tell the fakes from the real deal. However, I think I will visit this site and see for myself.
Welcome to Progressive U, and good luck with your future blogs!
if you research the site on the left hand corner it will give information on the illegitimacy of the site
