Welp, it was a great race, the hopes were high, and now they're gone. It is done for Mike Huckabee, already having to win every delegate and Romney's crowd of delegates before the Chesapeake primaries, now, there is no hope. Unless Huckabee invents a new type of math, it is mathematically impossible for Huckabee to win. I'm sorry Mike, I really am, you were a great social conservative, and were evidently a good Governor, congrats on running, now join the rest of us conservatives who must, albeit unwillingly, but must bow before the alter of John McCain.
And you know what else - I'm gonna go ahead and call the Democratic Race again, I had already called it for Obama, its gonna be Obama, after destroying Hillary in the Chesapeake region, he is pumped up to destroy her everywhere else thats left. I don't think Super Delegates are gonna play into this one, I call the next Democratic Presidential Nominee to be Barack Obama. Now, who will we get stuck with as a VP?? Who knows, I still have some bets on Edwards for the Dem's, and the Republican side is crazy, because no one knows who maverick McCain will pick.
So, here we go, some months till the convention, and both races have been decided. Wonderful. Now to start the campaign for the General Election. And 60-40 Barack beats McCain. Hopefully this won't happen. But, anything could in this crazy world.

Oh no, as much as the Republican race may be decided, the Democratic race is far from won. True, Obama has picked up considerable momentum in the past several primaries, but this race is entirely to close to be called. Although I agree that Obama will most likely end up with the nomination, there are too many primaries left, too small a margin of delegates between the two, and it is too heated a race to definitively declare a Democratic victory.
I can see what you mean about Gov. Huckabee being out of the race. I myself am a staunch supporter of him. However, I am glad that he is still in because his support runs strong. I believe that if he stays in and continues to pick up momentum he'll be able to prevent Sen. McCain from getting the delegates that he needs. And Huckabee actually did very well in Virginia. A week before the primary, McCain was ahead by twenty and thirty points. After the primary, he was ahead by nine. There's still some hope for Gov Huckabee, I think.
As for the Democrats, I do think that Obama will get it. And everyone knows that he'll be able to beat McCain - all current match-ups indicate that.

I am so glad Huckabee is beaten! McCain should be on the ballot for the Republicans! And of course it's going to be Obama!! Who in their right mind would vote for Hillary? I am ashamed that she's the first woman running for this. She does not deserve to represent the women of this country!
