Earlier I spoke about the deal America recently made with India to supply them with nuclear fuel and nuclear bomb components. Now just recently, after hearing that Pakistan made a plea as well to the US, Iran’s case is going to be heard in front of the UN International Security Council. It is entirely wrong that the US made this exception for India, especially after India refused to sign the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, and as a result there is much unsettlement in terms of who should be allowed nuclear weapons. The example had been made of India, and now the world believes that bombs are once again accepted, and that simply asking for a bomb will result in owning a bomb. What has the US done in signing on with India? After a little over a week there are already other countries requesting the same conditions as India has with the US. There should be restrictions on who can have bombs, and who can supply nuclear fuel. Ultimately, we are speaking about a weapon of mass destruction, but I believe the US has forgotten that. Overall, I feel as though America sold out their authority in the name of profits. This is unacceptable and will lead to future strife and war.

There certainly should be non-proliferation treaties, like you said. Still, India has proven itself an ally of the United States, and more importantly, an ally of stability. Providing India with nuclear resources will create an important counterbalance to Iran in southern Asia.
