So I read a post today and a fellow blogger's view of God. I thought I would write my own blog post on the topic, and it will oddly deal with Star Wars.
What? Running away already? Just please consider my argument. There is some sound philosophy in Star Wars. There is a force, and the Jedi try to master it. The force is God (God can be a person, a force, a tree, anything according to your preference), and the mastery of the force is living one's life as well as one can.
The force can be seen as both a universal binding force and a force that is within oneself.
The force does not bind us to act in a certain way, but if we tap into our own force, we can master it and become better people. This essentially means that to become better, one must "worship" one's own force. Meaning: one does not have to go to Church and say prayers that one does not know the meaning of. One should take control of one's own life, and decide what one should do according to the guidance of his or her own self-betterment, not Jesus' or Allah's guidance of self-betterment. Jesus' and Allah's teachings is how Jesus and Mohammad became "masters of their force", now YOU must figure out YOUR OWN way to become one.
