With all the recent school shootings around the country, many people are worried about school safety and security. Also many people are anti-war and think that our troops should be taken out of all foreign countries where there is violence.
My question to you is, if our country isn't protected, then how can our citizens be protected, for instance students and teachers in schools? Yes, there are problems with the war and it is not the happiest thought on anybodies minds, but it is necessary at times. If we never fought for our freedom, who knows...we could be under an Islamic dictatorship right now! Don't you remember 9/11? Don't you remeber all the deaths? Don't remeber the hatred towards us?

People have a problem with this because Iraq was not involved in the 9/11 acts of terrorism. Yes they want a safe home, but shouldn't the threat from within be taken care of first. Your question actually made me think the opposite of what you do. We need to protect home before we go to other places. If we can't protect our own teachers, students and citizens from threats from within who are we to go to other countries and try to protect them?
