As I watch the news and witness the childish behavior of Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton, I also see the shouts of racism from people on both sides of the coin. The irony of the Civil Rights Movement is the slavery that the Civil Rights Movement has created for itself. It used to be freedom from the oppression of slavery and now they are slaves to their own form of slavery.
This slavery is the shit that is fed to most of them. It is that if you are not a rapper, athlete or hardass then you aren't good enough and aren't "black" enough. Booker T. Washington and MLK fought to makes sure that minorities would never be degraded and would be treated as equals. But now we have the NAACP, NOI, Black Panthers, and rappers polluting the movement that has been going on since the end of slavery in the United States. The NAACP and LULAC cripple their respective minorities by saying that it they are entitled to something because of the wrongs that our modern ancestors committed. The NOI, Black Panthers, and rappers are playing off of the animosity that the NAACP AND LULAC instill toward white Americans.
The Black Panthers are nothing but a shell of the original Black Panthers of the 50's, 60's and 70's. Those Black Panthers fought during the Vietnam zeitgeist to fight back against the white American policemen and government officials who treated them like so much dog shit. They are nothing but charlatans when they claim to be fighting for MLK's dream. NOI or Nation of Islam is the same way. I am no racist, but these organizations are nothing but racist organizations behind their slick lies.
America has apologized countless times for the atrocities committed against the African people, but they won't let it go. And now this childish fight between Obama and Hilary has brought the racist debate back to the main stage. The democrats need to stop empowering racist organizations...which by the way the Black Panthers and NOI are considered leftist groups. I don't see Obama doing that and neither do I see Hilary doing it either. Perhaps it is time to give the libertarians and anarchists a try, they at least seem to be able to understand the workings of equality better than the democrats and republicans have ever been able to. But most of all, black Americans need to see the irony in their cries for equality and freedom because as long as they play into the stereotypes they've created then they will never be free and it is their own damn fault.
RIP MLK, may your vision take effect someday.

Correction: The NAACP is the Nation Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Are you trying to imply that they only fight for the rights of the black man? What? So you're trying to call the NAACP and the ACLU racist? You sick sonuvabitch.%^%
%^% FtR: SoD knows me and it's alright that I'm calling him a name. Sarcasm is a wonderful tool if used properly.

Yes I am, you have a problem with that?!?! I am a sick bastard, get it right!
FtR. Sarcasm is an amazing tool that most people don't know how to use the right way.
That's why I don't associate myself with any organization. Fuck everyone.
I think saying that we need to see the irony in our cries for equality is a little broad. Certainly these organizations do not represent all black people on all issues. They are self-appointed spokes people. And we have not reached any equality, in my experience anyway.
And what do you mean by America has apologized countless times? Do you mean the people as a whole, the government (which means nothing), etc..?
I don't think you give us enough credit. We are indeed capable of free thought.
God Bless Chinese Kitchen and every egg roll that springs forth!!!
I was shooting more for the people I was shooting for, not the black americans who find these organizations to be wrong. America freed the slaves, well Lincoln did. The government gave them land, that the KKK drove some off, but not all. You might not see that as much help, but I see that as a good amount of help. I can't end sterotypes because they have a ring of truth to them, and certain aspects of the black community love to play into those stereotypes, those are the people I was shooting for.
Define irony: two MLK parades because two organizations of black-americans can't even agree on one parade....that is irony. Equal rights, yet these groups can't even decide on a damn parade to celebrate their equal rights, that is the irony of all of it.
I give you enough credit, I don't give credit to those who play into the stereotypes.
