...It's Saturday Night Live!

...Maybe not, but it is my first blog entry probably in my whole life. As I looked on Fastweb and found this I wondered, "What the heck am I going to write about?!" Apparently reading the instructions wasn't real high on my priority list, and then it hit me, why not write about the ever present problem of teenagers not listening to their parents.

Sure it sounds cliche, but you know what? I've learned it's good cliche. I think I'd much rather have my parents always giving me good advice for life than them just staying mum about all my actions. It's something that I really think a growing teen needs. We need that little backbone once in a while. We should try to at least listen to them.

I hate when people (and I've done it too once or twice in my lifetime) start moaning and groaning about things that if you really take the time and effort to think it through makes sense.

Oh My God! My parents won't like let me drink margaritas with my friends in a over 18 club, like seriously what a bunch of douchesticks.

Let's just analyze that for a second. Example girl, who I will call Mary since saying Example Girl would sound way too much like she belongs in the Justice League than in high school, is complaining about her parents. What terrible monsters. They won't let you drink illegally in a club you shouldn't be in.

GASP. Don't even think about what could happen there. Rape? Who cares right; it's just a little fun.

A little fun goes a long way, and sometimes hurts a lot of people

Be careful out there guys, seriously. The world is a harsh place to live in, but if you have that moral support you'll be fine

:)

I kind of agree..

But only to a certain extent okay caring parents aren't going to let you drink in a club that you aren't suppose to be in, but teens need freedom and room to learn from there on lessons. Well unless its something that will actually kill them and then it will be to late but maybe you get what i mean.

I love the fact that my parents are always there giving me advice, yeah sometimes I get a little pissed when they interfere with things like relationships and the likes, but in the end they've never steered me wrong so I trust it completely. I just wish more kids would listen to their parents.
