Today I watched Oprah for the first time in a while. ( I'm getting slack.) It was about the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) in Uganda, Africa. It is led by a man who thinks that he is God. They kidnap kids who are then exposed to rape, murder, being soldiers, cannibalism, and torture. Some become sex slaves. And some are forced to torture, kill, and rape others. The LRA are a form of rebels. These kids walk at night to find a safe place to sleep so they are not kidnapped. They had a girl on there who shared her story of how she was kidnapped and a battle was going on a rebel soldier (member of the LRA) pushed her in front of him as a shield and she got his by a shrapnel and it messed her face up. She was embarrased and kept a handkerchief in front of her face. She has had four reconstructive surgeries and has to have more. It was very sad. Something has to be done...but what can I do?

That's cruel.
You can make flyers to support people to give donations. Look at Oprah's website, maybe it has a place there were you can donate. Or maybe organize a sale of some sort. I saw the show too, and at times had to look away...
