Effects of money

F. Scott Fitzgerald once said to Ernest Hemingway, "Rich people are different from you and me." To which Hemingway replied, "Yeah, they got more money."

What effects does money have on a person? Does it really change people? The way I think of it is that money doesn't change people, but the greed and love of money is what changes people.

Which brings me to a personal favorite of mine, Willie Sutton, who said, "The reason I rob banks is 'cause that's where the money is." There are limitless possibilities to what a person is willing to do for money.. but is it worth it? Do you really need money to be happy? What would the world be like with out greed or the evil that comes with money?

i agree with you on this topic. it is ok to have money but when money has you it is a problem that you need to take care of. there is nothing wrong with people who have money. the people that i know that have money are pretty cool people but of course, there are those who are stuck up. and those people you hate because they are always rubbing stuff in your face, and you just sit there wishing that you could have what he/she has. like i said before it is wrong when money has people instead of the other way around.

This conversation makes me think of a song called "Mississippi Girl." In the song, Faith Hill claims that she's no different than when she was poor and living in Mississippi. I thought about it and thought about it. Why do people seem to change their lifestyles when they find themselves rolling in money? Are there certain people that are more suited to a lavish lifestyle? Is it always those people that end up with it? Why does that happen? I can't seem to come up with answer, I suppose mostly because I've never seen the coming up of those people.
