Unfortunately, I am one of those people that has to have everything written down. Yes, I'm one of those anal retentive people that makes "to do" lists. Even more, I actually abide them as though they were written in stone. Anyways, I thought what better way could there be for me to inspire myself to complete the tasks that I've been putting off and putting off than to make a blog where it's in black and white and taunting me each time I see it and am unable to check something off because I haven't done anything? So, here it is...a list of the top 100 things I would like to get accomplished over the next year. Stay tuned to see how I do!
1. SO FAR, SO GOOD! Have at least a 3.0 GPA in all of my classes at HSU.
2. Lose ten pounds.
3. Hold my niece, Larkin, when she's born.
4. DONE! Find a good daycare for Abigail and Brianna.
5. Get together with my friend, Aly, again after all this time.
6. See my cousin, Sean, after all these years.
7. Take the kids to Six Flags.
8. Start going to Sunday School.
9. DONE! Start spending 10-15 minutes (at least) everyday reading my Bible.
10. DONE! Make a new friend.
11. Read a good book.
12. Put together a jigsaw puzzle.
13. Go on a date with my husband. 
14. Teach Abigail and Brianna the ABCs.
15. DONE! WOO HOO...NO MORE DIAPERS!! Get the twins completely potty-trained.
16. Stop smoking. 
17. DOES 5 TIMES A WEEK COUNT? Start exercising regularly.
18. DONE (FINALLY)! At Arlene's suggestion, finish this list. 
19. DONE...FINALLY! Get SCENTsational Candle Creations off to a good start.
20. Volunteer at least once for a charity or charitable organization.
21. 1 DOWN! Write ten new poems.
22. Find a job, even if it is only part-time.
23. Replace the windshield on my Envoy. 
24. DONE! Start designing our new house.
25. Have my Christmas shopping started before October.
26. Take the kids to the Grace Museum.
27. Buy a new digital camera. (Mine broke!
)
28. Have our family pictures taken again.
29. DONE! Buy Katlynn a new daybed.
30. Learn how to cook something new.
31. Spend a weekend alone with my husband. 
32. Get my student account at Hardin-Simmons paid off.
33. Finish my prequisites for nursing school.
34. Get CPR certified.
35. DONE! Send a card to somebody for no reason other than just to make their day a little brighter.
36. DONE! Get another bed.
37. DONE! Give our old couch, loveseat, and mattress to Salvation Army or somebody else that needs it.
38. Take my kids to volunteer for one day at the Salvation Army or some other charitable organization.
39. Visit my grandmother's grave and leave her flowers.
40. Go to the drive-in to watch a movie.
41. Reorganize my picture frames with new updated photos.
42. Buy a Christmas gift for a needy child.
43. Fill out and actually MAIL Christmas cards. (I fill them out every year, but for some reason they never make it to the post office!)
44. Write my husband a love letter.
45. DONE! Volunteer to help with Katlynn's class at least once.
46. Volunteer to help with Kane's class at least once.
47. Take my mother-in-law to lunch.
48. I HAVE AT LEAST STARTED THIS ONE! Update my address/telephone book.
49. Take Kane to the Abilene Public Library.
50. (Shew...halfway there.
) Get a tune-up done on my truck.
51. Apply to nursing school.
52. DONE! Start drinking water, which I hate but very much need!
53. DONE! Clean our carpets or have them cleaned.
54. Get our back bathroom fixed.
55. DONE! (THANKS TO A VERY SWEET PERSON WE KNOW!) Buy a new washer (ours went out!
)
56. Have the twins' pictures made.
57. DONE! Buy Kane's Cub Scout uniform, etc.
58. Donate blood at least one time.
59. Watch a movie with my kids.
60. Go on a picnic.
62. Buy memory boxes for Kane and Katlynn (the twins already have one).
63. Plant some flowers in the yard.
64. DONE! Have a garage sale.
65. Let my hair grow out, which means no drastic cuts.
66. DONE! Get the kids' rooms switched out.
67. Paint the middle bedroom.
68. DONE! Do a good deed for a stranger.
69. DONE! Make an A on at least one of my Chemistry tests.
70. Open a savings account for all four kids.
71. Get the old computer fixed for Kane and Katlynn.
72. Take Katlynn to the dentist.
73. Take the twins to get their check-ups done.
74. Get another adapter for the portable DVD players in the truck.
75. DONE! Make an A on at least one of my Bible tests.
76. Run the mile in less than ten minutes.
77. Make an A on at least one of my History tests.
78. DONE! Get the SCENTsational Candle Creations website finished.
79. Buy a new lawnmower for George.
80. Get all of my garage sale stuff out of Dot's house.
81. DONE! Get the headboard put on our new bed.
82. Get a massage from a professional! (Not that yours don't feel good, George.
)
83. Take the kids to the zoo.
84. Get a camcorder.
85. Do something special for our wedding anniversary (a nice, quiet road trip would be nice).
86. Put all of my pictures into photo albums.
87. DONE! Read a book to my children.
88. DONE! Spend a whole day completely by myself and enjoy some me time.
89. Get my ears pierced again.
90. DONE! Become a member at our church.
91. Go to at least three parent meetings at the kids' school.
92. Get my physical and check-up done.
93. DONE! Go through all of the kids' clothes and toys, and donate or sell what they no longer need.
94. Buy myself a new pair of shoes.
95. DONE! Eat lunch with my husband during the week.
96. Take the kids to Frontier Texas.
97. DONE THANKS TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND! Take a bubble bath.
98. Go to at least one student activity at Hardin-Simmons.
99. Go to at least one football game with George and Kane.
100. And, after getting everything on this list completed, enjoy a day of pampering at the spa since I've never been to a spa before.
