Last night my Mom and I were watching the news and there were two stories about internet predators and how they were stalking a girl from Myspace. They would look through her comments and her friends comments and literally follow her everywhere she said she would be going day after day until they finally caught her alone and they raped and killed her. What is wrong with people? Honestly? Come on now. I understand people go through tramatizing experiences but why would you want to put someone else through that pain? How can you be okay with yourself when you're in your car watching some girl you don't know wanting to hurt her, kill her, make her feel your pain. Get help! Don't inflict things on other people to relieve your pain and internal hurt, let a professional give you the help that you need. I hate that predators don't stop and consider the victim's family. How are they going to feel knowing that their daughter was taken by someone she doesn't know, taken to a place, possibly drugged, that she has never seen and being taken advantage of and she can't do anything to stop it because she's scared out of her mind. I thank God everyday that I'm not caught in that situation. I try to cherish everyday of life and live it to the fullest. I don't put myself in vunerable situations. Be cautious about what you talk about on the internet because believe it or not, you are not invincible. You always think it's not gonna happen to me it always happens to someone else, it CAN happen to you. Value life, yourself, and absolutely everything and everyone around you, don't take anything for granted.

I agree- why would you want to hurt someone you don't know, especially if they haven't done anything wrong to you and are not bad people?
How the hell do you meet up with someone as sick and twisted as you and then decide to go hurt someone? Oh. the internet.
I'm not blaming the victims at all, but teenage girls need to start being more careful about what they say on the internet. I know half of the friends on my list just tell ALL their information. One girl says she's going out tonight, lists the address, and says if anyone wants to go meet her they can. Fu*king stupid.

People do some not-so-smart things on the internet. I don't think those people really know how dangerous it can be. They think that being on cyberspace creates enough distance, but aren't all these murders and rapes and stalker reports proof enough that they're not? Can't ever be enough distance between young girls and the psychos out there.
