Television today is becoming worse.Day after day more stupid shows are put on TV.And more and more Americans are watching these mindless shows.We have started centering our entire lives around them.We watch so much TV,it's horrible.Our minds are slowly wasting away.PUT DOWN THE REMOTES AND BACK AWAY FROM THE TV.Go outside.DO something productive.We're all getting sucked into this new TV watching society.It has been created by Corp. Amercia.The big buildings that try to figure what we need without asking.How dare they!We can decide on our own.We dont need their stupid TV shows.The things that we start to find on TV should immediately be canceled.They go beyond entertainment and straight to "What the Hell is This?!"Why are they showing these types of shows?Children start to watch this crap.Bad influences start early.We cant let this go on much longer.We have to stand up and stop these people and their shows.What happened to good old entertaining TV?Or educational TV?TV is getting stupid.I'm turning mines off for a while.Anyone want to join?

Yes! I will gladly turn mine off &, I don't know, read?!? What a concept, right? What happened to the days when a family had a set TV time that was short & only rewarded after homework/other tasks were completed? Also, do you think obecity among children would be such a big problem if they weren't planted infront of the TV at all times of the day.
What's your opinions on shows like "Tila Tequilla" or "The Girls Next Door"?
I've seen the toll it's taking on the little one. Him and his dad watch TV or play games, they do it together but they don't really talk or whatever you want to call it. The little one went to camp and was decorating a bucket that said something about killing and hell and what not. Thats a sure sign of needing to get out more but they don't really. I use to be out all the time and never want to come in!
Or if can't find anything that's productive, they can always listen to their iPods, MP3 players, CDs, etc.
the TV's need to go off or at least whats on them needs to be replaced with something worth watching that will do more then just waste 15 minutes of your life watching a camera crew take a tour of someones house. its ridiculous. and the shows that are considered educational are just as depressing. for example, the show Dora the explorer? child friendly enough right., supposed to be considered an educational show for kids. they aren't teaching anything i mean they ask you what colors the monkeys are in the trees? how helpful is that. they should be showing things like how to take about a remote control and how it works. things that would at least be more useful then what we are seeing now
