in maryland on monday a 7 year old first grader went to school. He later discovered two guns in his bookbag(said to have been from his uncles house where he spent the weekend). When he dropped one of the guns in school a teacher saw it an brought him to the office where they called the police. The cops came and searched his belongings and found a second gun. They believe the kid din't know they were in his bag until he got to school. They also say the child may have thought they were toys. It's said that the kid ment no harm to anyone and isn't going to face any charges. How ever the uncle may!! He brought guns to school, point blank!! Even if he is 7 shouldn't he get some sort of charges, i mean kids these days act more grown up then they really are and no one really knows if he knew they were there or whathe planned to do. How do we know he just didn't lie an say he didn't know they were there? How do we know he didn't actually plan to kill someone? So is it fair that he gets off with nothing? Truthfully he may not have known better but the fact is he brought guns to a school anything could have happened. What if he would've played with it in school an shot someone? Would he have got away with it then? Anything could've happened and the action there taking is possibly punishing the uncle!!!! http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/04/01/school.guns/index.html
7 year old shoots up....

In many third world nations, 7-year olds do a lot worse than shoot up a school. They "shoot up" entire villages, killing every single inhabitant and burning them to the ground.
But I guess out of sight, our of mind, right?
