breathe in deeply for a better earth

Yay more ranting all in one day.

Ok with Al Gore going nuts for saving the earth, is he really getting somewhere or is he fighting a battle that no one sees to care about?

Ok the biggest problem that i seem to be having is when ever has these ideas about how to reduce to save our planet, has anyone come up with ideas on how to reverse the damage that we have already done to it? If the problems that we have now are the natural consumption of the planet and the effects that it has shouldnt the other side of the problem be the damage that we have already done to it ? If we are already cutting our consumption on things that are going to everntualy run out are we replacing what we are consunimg or is humanity one big black whole? I dont know about you but these quesions are constantly bother me to the point of aggravation.

Now I will give lots of credit to Gore for what he has already done, but the nagging set of questions continues. Are we doing enough to recycle, is it too late and more importantly if we dont listen what happens? (leat one is kinda retorical, we die)

Gore's belief, based on faulty stats, is that man is causing global warming.

While it DOES appear that the average temperature has gone up part of a degree of the last few years, there is something overlooked: The Cause.

Gore believes that we are the cause and, despite his wasteful jet and lifestyle (including a home that uses more energy in a month than most do in a year), we need to live more 'green' to offset this.

However, looking at our neighbor planet, Mars, we've noticed that the polar caps have been disappearing there for the last 4 years.

Unless one is going to try to blame the Mars Rovers for this, it looks like any global warming is outside of the reach of mankind (on mars) and is likely, therefore, to be out of the reach of mankind here on Earth as well.

While man can be less wasteful, we aren't raping mother nature. The truth is, the United States is one of the Greenest of the Industrialized Nations, China being one of the worst.

As our history shows, weather has a pattern, there are warmer times and colder times. When I was a baby, we were on the hind end of a global cooling crisis.

Either neither are caused by mankind, or we managed to stop and reverse Global Cooling within one Generation, across the entire planet.

I think the latter is a bit too unrealistic.
