OMG OMG OMG,... Im a little late in posting this blog knowing that the iPhone was introduced almost two weeks ago, BUT I just had to put my excitement somewhere....
I WANT IT! The features on that baby!!!
The Apply iPhone is like having:
-laptop(safari)
-iPod
-Phone
-camera
ALL IN ONE! Which may not seem so great because alot of phones have these now but being as popular as the ipods are right now, no phone has close to that much memory built in.
The phone even has a visible voicemail box that you can choose like a text message which one you want to listen to instead of hearing them all. How awsome.
Im a girl and feel this way about a stupid phone but it is just amazing,... I guess I am just hooked on apple software and products...
Anyway, I currently have an apple ibook I bought when i first came to college a couple years ago and I never thought twice about NOT wanting an ipod, I just think any other cheaper MP3 player can work just as well and for way less (accessories and all), but this phone just has it all and it is not even overpriced really...
It will cost about $499 for a 4 gig with a two-year contract with Cingular, and $599 for an 8 gig, yes it is alot but non Razor phones are almost free and when they came out they ran over $500 dollars.... but I doubt Apply will lower these prices anytime soon or close to future..... BUT WHY CINGULAR??? I have t-mobile and i can say without a doubt that they have the most reasonable prices for plans.... But yea cingular does have roll over minutes and nights starting at 7 but their minute packages suck and cost more. BUT I am not trying to advertise nor put down any company,.. i actually was trying to think how I could get out of t-mobile and get cingular just for the phone, but I am NOT going to try that one because maybe by not switching will then tell Apple to sell their phones through other companys and maybe for less... who knows, but I am just super excited.
This phone just does it all, the internet looks as if through a laptop and you can easily move your fingers and it zooms in same with any pictures taken or uploaded onto it... Text messages look like AIMS and everything is just SOOO updated!!

Is it really logical to spend so much on something that will be outdated in less than a year? In my opinion, it's overpriced, just like all of apple's ipod products. It's great that they can develop these interesting gadgets, but it frustrates me how apple can create a product, retire it, and then create a new one to replace it just so people feel they have to have the newest, latest, and usually most expensive release.
I agree with you Andi, that phone will be upgraded in 6 months and you will just have to go get another one. Hell, they are upgrading it right now I'm sure
Im probably never going to get it but i heard they actually are upgrading the interenet already for next year!!!! lol
