I stayed home sick from school today. I've had a headache for two days and figured if I could just catch up on some sleep I'd feel better... And maybe I'd even get some school work done.
Wrong. The problem is, my school work hasn't been piling up because I'm lazy, it's been piling up because it's all busywork. No matter how hard I try, I can't bring myself to sit down and complete busywork.
None of it makes any sense. I have a million little english things to do like reading comic strips and writing notebook responses. What does that have to do with anything? And I have to read a kabillion book exerpts for government and take notes on them. I'm sick of ancient phylosophies that have no relation to government today.
Call me lazy, say I'm not 'seeing the big picture,' tell me I just have to 'stick it out.' I want something that relates to today. To the here and now. I want to change the world.
