Cloning....its a heated topic whether your for or against it thats your choice but think about it for a minute all this advancement, science wise and medical wise....is it good or bad? I believe it has its ups and downs I mean its amazing to think that for the first time Britain researchers have created an "human-animal" hybrid embryo!Ok first it was dolly the cute little sheep then it went to bigger animals, but now humans?It might be ok for some medical things like for transplants and stuff but I personally wouldnt want another me (besides naturally born twins) to be running around...I am all for stem cell research and stuff but maybe these scientists are taking it too far now...How did they do this you may ask? I mean human-animal...well the embryos were created by injecting DNA from human skin cells into eggs from cow ovaries with most of their genetic material stripped away, they lasted for three days.All these science fiction novels of clones and stuff we might just end up finding that as our future with all these mad scientist out there.....kind of creepy, but it might also be good...having a clone of yourself or at least parts of yourself (if scientists end up knowing how to regenerate organs) i mean what if you had kidney failure or you needed a new organ because one of yours shut down? Well they would take that organ out and replace it with one thats been regenerated from your own cells (but healthy) not only is it great that you wont have to be taking someone elses kidney or liver or whatever it would be your own hence you wouldnt need all those pills that you need to take for your body to not fight it off and have it shut down. Wouldnt that be great?!Thousands of people would have a second chance at living! Someone's daughter would end up living their life and get a second chance....We dont need clones of ourselves...just the organs, I mean were unique,one-of-a-kind, pretty soon if scientist perfect that what would we have left thats going to be considered our own?Nothing.I want to hear what you all have to say about cloning, i mean is it great or should they stop now? http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/04/02/human-animal-hybrid.html
