Spring is in the air

It's about that time of year when the sun begins to shine and the temperatures begin to climb. And actually, it's still quite chilly out, but after being cooped up by and accustomed to the frosty days of winter, anything abovet th freezing point feels good. Driving down the street you're sure to find open widows with car stereos blaring, sun roofs open and MOTORCYCles and scooters out from their winter slumber.

I Love it.

I grow up in Chicago and love the changing of the seasons. After spending a few years in califronia, where the seasonal changes are a bit more subtle, it's been great to see the autumn turn the leaves from green to brow as they crunch under my feet., the winter snow blanket the city and absorb the sounds of the world and now the spring brings sunshine and soon the chirping of birds.

Today I'd like to ask you to appreciate the sunshine.
Stick your head out the window like a dog in the wind.
Ask a stranger for a ride on his motorcycle.
Stop the car in the middle of an open road, get out and scream.
Drink a tea on the porch of your house.
Summer's not far....

I live in Tucson, where we have two seasons: hot and really hot. We may not have pretty leaves, but I can wear shorts and flip flops year round. Begging

I've never experienced the changing seasons.
the sun never stops to shine!
Though I intend to one day experience that beautiful part of nature.

I live in Alaska. Spring is... not... here.... really....... We still have lots of snow. I hope it melts my mid-May... yeah right. I love Alaska, I really do, but the colors are starting to fade, and I'm ready for some green. Midwest spring is the most beautiful - you are right. Enjoy it!! The sun is hiding from us today.
