Sexism has been a heated argument, i'd say close to everywhere in the world for centuried. Where do men and women meet as far as rights and everyday life? Who is to say that a woman belongs in the kitchen, preparing dinner for her husband every night. If its not ready when he gets home, then she has failed him. She should not get her own career. Her dream should be to be a homemaker, to give her husband happiness, and to raise the children. These are the types of things I saw when I was in a freshman in highschool and my Life After Highschool teacher gave me a handout with "How to be the Perfect Wife" printed at the top of the page. I was mortified. This issue has been brought up so many times and society has worked so hard to make it possible for women to have the same opportunities and respect that men do. I could not understand why a woman who was a teacher and making a career for herself would hand this out to her female students only. She never explained the handout, so maybe the reason for the paper was different from what I took it to be. I dont want to be just another wife serving her husband. Everyone deserves a chance to succeed in their life.

this is true, and i have lived it and seen how some men just won't get through the fact that it's a new and modern society and mostly people who come from South America, the parents (dad) teach their sons how to be like that.
If it's the printout I'm thinking of, it's from a magzine in the 1950's and we got it in Lit class to study.
Life After Highschool class? Weird.
Just find a way to get paid for doing what you like or for working in your area of expertise.
