I don't know about everyone else, but at my high school if you don't party you must be lame! Everyone loves to talk about what wild and crazy party they were at over the weekend, and how they almost got busted by the cops. Just sitting and listening you can find out who blacked out, got hurt, got busted, cheated, was cheated on, and who just plainly acted like a slut. It’s quite entertaining to listen to, but at the same time it really just sounds stupid. How mature do you sound when you’re saying, “I got so ****** up last night,”? Does that really attract guys? I might be the only person wondering these questions, but really is partying everything? I’m not claiming to be better than anyone else; I used to be one of those people who talked about what party I was at. Then I realized that there was so much more to do then get drunk on a weekend. The age at which people begin drinking seems to get lower every year. When I started high school, I thought it was just something the older kids did. Now I listen to the freshman talking about their parties they used to have in middle school! ARE YOU KIDDIG ME?? It’s crazy!
