Many in America believe that the illegal immigrants are coming for jobs and a better living standard. This sadly is not true. They are coming here to invade and take over the United States. Lets look at some things they have said.

Interesting. Racist groups in coordination with the Mexican goverment are plotting to take over the US. And Bush and the Dems are selling us out. NAFTA anyone. Hunter for president.

The threat of Mexican/Hispanic control of "white America" seems hyped... if it can even be counted as a threat at all. It seems we are victims of our own american paranoia propaganda. I would double check your dates and sources and compare them to legislative activity in congress and changes in border patrol policy. It sounds like someone is leaking information for a purpose or to promote some end.
I say that because, historically speaking, the developed conquer the less developed (Romans and the Germans, Europeans and the Native Americans, the Soviets and the surrounding territories, the United States and Texas, etc, etc, etc.). Anytime there is the "threat" of a silent take over by a lesser developed nation or group it seems to be propelled by either A. a lobbyist group or government activist B. A high school debater C. someone trying to profit off the enforcement of a new policy. Then again I could be completely wrong.

I appreciate you sharing your opinion gracefully with ProgressiveU users! =) I have to disagree, though, with the thought that immigrants are coming to America to cause our demise.
People who cross the boarders risk their lives. Peope who cross our boarders leave a home to come to a stranger-country of promise. I have talked with people who have done these things, they leave behind their families, and things that they know for opportunity. The living conditions in their countries are not desirable, and they're simply looking for a stable lifestyle for themselves and their families.
I know that I would not like to live in poverty--living off of a few dollars a day. I know, that if I was in that position I would be looking for a better life as well.
I think what really trips this up is the fact that you are focused on keeping America in White hands. This is a threat to White America says you. "The last gasp of White America." Just like the encroaching threat of liberalism on Christian America.
Thing is America is neither White, nor Christian. It is, theoretically anyway, a democracy. Not a White democracy or a Christian democracy. THe people with the most votes are in charge. So far that's been White Christians, but there is no, and should be no, guarantee that that will remain true.
This whole idea of Reconquista is over-hyped, racist shit(racist on both Chicano and White sides). Force of votes can't form some sort of Azatlan state and violence cannot prevail without backing from a major government and a real war. It's just patriotic image pumping and xenophobic fear tactics.
"The border crossed us" happened a long time ago, and most people saying it were born in S. America anyway. It's silly. Immigrants just feel entitled to their chunk of the American dream and feel, rightly in some cases, that they are being denied that because of their race. They counter this by trying to create solidarity within the Chicano population.
What are the real political aims of this "Reconquista"? As far as I can tell it is almost entirely reactionary racism. They don't seem to have any real political goals except to grab political power from the gabachos. There is no real threat there.
