south dakota abortion ban is back!!

Two years ago, South Dakota had a bill that would ban all abortion; it was so extreme that it would deny abortion to women who had been rape, victim of incest, and to save the mother life.

This year, the bill is back but the anti choicer realize their mistake and allow abortion to women who had been a victim of rape, incest, and to save the mother health. With two neoconservative judges on the Supreme Court, the anti choicer hopes that it will overturn roe vs. wade, as they stated:

“My job is to protect the women of South Dakota,” said Leslie Unruh, VoteYesForLife.com executive director. If abortion rights advocates “follow what they’ve done in the past, suing, they’ll probably sue on this one, as well. We’re prepared for that; we’ve done due diligence in the preparation for this law.”

The exception for rape, incest, and a mother health must first be examined to determine eligibility for an abortion but the judge who will hear the case also had the right to not hear it if they said it was against their conscious to allow a rape woman to have an abortion.

Here are the rules:

A woman would have to report rape or incest to police before seeking an abortion to qualify for that exception. “A woman who is the victim of incest and is 13, being raped by her father, is highly unlikely to report that,” said Sarah Stoesz, president and chief executive of Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota.

Opponents also said the definition of a health risk to the woman is too narrow because the language implies a doctor would have to be certain the woman’s health was threatened and excludes mental and emotional issues as health exceptions.

So you see, if a woman wants an abortion, she need sound science and a doctor request that the women must get an abortion to save her life.

For example, if the women is carrying a fetus with physical disabilities that would cause hardship in their life or will require major surgery than she can't get an abortion because the woman life is not being threaten by it and the emotional, financial, and mental distress she receive from it is not enough for her to get an abortion.

But these people who support the ban on abortion also are against financial assistance for the women after the fetus is born because it not their job to take care of a whore child.
