Homosexuals

One of the things that bothers me about America today, is the fact that homosexuals are not given the same rights and freedoms as heterosexuals. It doesn’t make much sense to me that just because you happen to gay, means that you are not treated as an equal. They are not offered the same opportunities; not even marriage in some states. It just doesn’t make any sense to me how in this world that we are living in, where everyone is supposedly so free now and equal. Still, gay people are looked upon by many prejudice people. And the most amazing shock to me is the fact that it is the most prominent religious people that are the most judgmental against homosexuals. I understand that in the Bible it says that marriage is between a man and a woman. However, times have changed, people have evolved, and God has a plan for us. Obviously, if one is in love with someone of the same sex, then God has planned it. I don’t believe there is a single thing wrong with homosexuals. I think everyone has their own right to love whomever they want, marry whomever they want, and be with whomever their want. If America is such a free country, then it should be free to all Americans. Not just heterosexuals.

in MOST states. Not some. There are only two (I think) that currently recognize any kind of same sex union.
