Still Sick [in bed]

I should make a survey, “What does Nyquil do to you?” I can picture exactly how it would pan out too. I need one hundred healthy people, and one hundred people with the sniffles. Everyone lays in bed, and I would just watch and see what happens. Because what happened to me, cannot be normal. I did just that, laid down in my peaceful bed imagining myself drifting off to slumber, and….nope. Nothing. I actually started to feel more wake, a little kick of energy. I don’t remember much after that, but the twelve people in my phonebook do. I guess I rambled on about the more random things, like rabbits and facebook. And, just to make me seem even more insane, I couldn’t stop laughing. I, much to my downfall, cannot remember any of this. I called two people, my “husband” and my best guy friend. I’ll probably be talking about them a lot in my upcoming blogs, so I’ll give you a brief history.

I met my “husband” in the tenth grade of high school, his name can be…..Jude (I like that name). We got “married” in our science class, and had a special connection. But, we dated other people for years later and lost touch. I moved two hours away from my hometown, to the big city to start at an University. Country to city, big change. I met this amazing Christian guy named…..Nick. We really hit it off and became very close. After dating for four months, everything was perfect, so I decided to break it off. He’s the kind of guy a girl could settle down with, so I knew that if I wanted it to work that we would have plenty of time to get to know each other and don’t have to rush into the dating scene.

Thanks to the wonderful world of facebook and myspace, my husband and I started talking again, and now are very close. We both drive back and forth to visit each other (and all my old friends). He is even moving to the same city in a couple months! Sadly, Jude and Nick are not too fond of each other, which makes me feel so terrible when I talk about them to the other. So, I try not to anymore. What do I do when I am trying to make school and work my first priority, but I keep getting distracted by my heart? Nick brought me soup his afternoon. He told me all the goofy things I said and cannot remember. (I hope he made some up!) What would you do? Drift…?

sounds complicated. NyQuil has that effect on some people, it can act as a stimulant instead of a depressant to the nervous system.
