Okay, like me I'm sure plenty of students who are involved in any sort of activity in the Fine Arts Department (i.e. Art, Band, Orchestra, Theater) would agree that they are freakin' sick and tired of all of the school's budget money going to sports. My school in particular cares more about football than anything else! It's rather annoying. Band and orchestra need new instruments, the Theater dep't needs new costume materials, the Art classes need better supplies (over half of our projects last year were on construction paper, and just recently we had to gesso and paint over already used canvas board taht previous students didn't finish! Plus, we just NOW got an Art History course added.)
So, I'm just saying that maybe we should consider the Fine Arts Department in addition to the Athletic Department.

I'm with you! When I was in high school, I was a big drama kid. Most of the costumes were brought from our homes or bought with our own money! Pretty sad if you ask me.
