It is so hard right now to get the actual story. The media is so biased and yes of course they want stories that increase their ratings.
Right now our country is torn between political parties and whatever party the channel tends to favor, depends on what side of the story you will get.
We need to stop fighting over political parties and start caring about what is right for the country. It shouldn't be which party controlls the government because this only distracts us from getting things done. Everything is so inefficient because the Republicans are trying to make sure the Democrats don't do anything and the Democrats are trying to make sure the Republicans don't get anything accomplished. This ongoing feud is making the country crumble from within.

Great point! If the two parties would work together rather than bicker, we could achieve something in this country. Party loyalties need to be broken- our nation is supposed to be loyal to the people, not the parties. Unfortunately, you must be in a political party today to truly express your views, and have them heard. So my temporary solution is the Democrats.
Great points, but I'd like to see you expand your ideas a little more. I would have promoted this post to the front page if only it had been longer and with more of a purpose. Don't be afraid to rant a little bit for the sake of getting your point across, because I feel like you have alot more to say on the subject.

makes sense, so many people are torn between the two parties that they can't focus on actual problems americans are having, its ridiculous, politics are so concerned about there name and fame and the votes that they get and not concerned about the true issues and getting things accomplished, everyone should join together and get things done to make us a better country!
