books changed Me!

I absolutely love, love books! I was never a big reader in grade school, except for 3rd grade Goosebumps books. Other than that I  have never seriously read a book in full. Last summer I read Harry Potter... then read 3 more Harry Potter books. I ended up reading the last Harry Potter..The deathly Hallows..in 4 days, it's 750 pages long. I miss Harry now that the books are finished.

In all I read over 10 books this summer. It's like I became addicted. I couldn't wait to get back to the books I was reading..to get away from my real life. I read 4 Christopher Moore books, and felt closer to his characters than to people in my own life. I loved how his characters kept making appearnces in other works of his. Reading has given me an outlet for my anxiety.

Since reading the Harry Potter series of books my literacy has improved so much. I am able to read faster, understand more of what I'm reading, and absorb others' knowledge through reading informative books. One of the many books I read this summer was The Road Less Traveled. I haven't been so uplifted since E.F.Y church camp. Another fabulous read was Care of the Soul. Reading has enriched my life. I wish I could make everyone I know read every book I do. I have grown spiritually through reading. I highly recomend everyone to read all the books I have listed for their own personal growth, fun, and experience.

I used to love the Goosebumps books, the babysitter club, and the Highlights magazines. Good stuff. O snap.

Have you read any books by Sarah Dessen? I absolutely love her!!! She is probably my favorite author ever. I also like the Kite Runner, and I am currently reading A Thousand Splendid Suns which was written by the author of the Kite Runner.

If you have an interest in religious books, Try the space trilogy by C.S. Lewis. I've only gotten to the first book, but its pretty good. Science, social commentary, humor.

Like what you've read? Well, then here's more:
