So lately everytime I put a cheeseburger in my mouth I feel so guilty for the poor little cow that had to die so I could get my hunger filled for the next hour. I don't eat that much meat, but I love chinese food and really just can't live without it. I still feel so guilty though, but with my busy schedule there's not many nights that I have time to make that salad that I would much rather eat, instead I'm stuck eating that processed cheeseburger from McDonalds. I wish I could go vegetarian but I don't have the self control. What do you guys think?

You know what? That little cow is going to be killed one way or another. If you don't eat that cheeseburger, someone sure as heck is! Maybe me....pass it over. Just kidding, the burgers there are way too greasy for my stomach. Now there are probably a few questions you should ask yourself. Did you just hear about something or see something that made you feel guilty? Is it just a phase you think you're going through? How is your health?
I am not vegetarian, but I know it takes a lot to be one. It's not really about self control, because as you said it's about not wanting to eat meat. If you don't want it, there shouldn't be anything to war with. Maybe it's just red meat. Try eating chicken or turkey for a bit and see if you have the same feelings inside you. Sometimes I go through periods where I just don't want red meat for weeks. It happens!
Good luck with whatever you find!
Times flies like the wind; fruit flies like a banana.
If you feel like I do...read past blog 'intense fear of eating meat', I buy VERY expensive meat from local farmers that I know how the animals are fed and treated...namely...my mom. I rarely eat it, but I feed my family well.
I did not eat my first burger until I was 20 years old. Until this day at 22 I still do not eat ketchup and mustard.

I'm not a vegetarian, but the animals are already dead...so we should just eat it instead of letting it go to waste you know. lol If you're not going to eat it, I'm pretty sure other people will. Vegetable tastes weird for me. I can't eat a salad without ketchup or other kinds of source. I don't eat fast food unless I'm really hungry. Usually I go and buy bread at a near by bakery. But yeah, it makes me feel guilty to eat meat too. I just cannot stop my hungry self.
